He met a girl one day
And that day, he just knew
That was the girl he wanted a future with—

Though she was small and quiet,
And he was loud and brave,
He knew together, they’d be perfect.
So he took that girl by the hand
And he showed her a world she’d never seen
He showed her what it felt like to be loved unconditionally
He made her the happiest she’d known how to be
He told her she was his world
He held her in his arms and kissed her on her head
He told her “I’m not going anywhere"
