Who cares when you dance It’s not to the beat Your claps aren’t timed And you stomp your feet Be the first to dance
Life’s like a puzzle With pieces thrown all about You have to put it together Until the pieces run all out Sometimes it’s finished
I set a net to catch the thief That ate my food at night Since every morning I wake up To find no food in sight When the trap went off
I let the cat out To explore the yard It scratched at the fence But the fence was to hard It laid about then swallowed
My friend dared me once To get a hair cut He agreed in return To get punched in the gut I grabbed my scissors
It’s time I must go I’ll make this one quick Just flip the page If this one doesn’t stick
Tomorrow I shall seize the day Tomorrow I’ll go on that run Tomorrow I’ll wake up right on ti… And get the yard work done Tomorrow I’ll finish that book
The rains kept a comin It seemed they wouldn’t stop The clouds just kept on pouring Till they squeezed out every drop The lightning pierced the ground
