A Question of Balance?

I look, not sure for what
I search, but in vain
Is it my need, or just desire
Will I know, can I tell?
Can you descern for me, I cannot
The mystery is mine
A journey I must make
The life I must live
The question, how well
Is it a question with an answer
Can you balance good and evil
How can you tell which one is which
Depending upon your hearts intent
How much to share, or do I take
Will I hurt, or should I heal
Do I live for me, an only me
Or do I share, and care for you
Is it a question of balance?
Weighting one against the another
Or is it my heart and strength of will
How do I tell, which is the real me

First, I am totally new at writing, anything, period. This was my first effort at minimal word usage. As an exercise. I have something I love to do, and am working on it. Please feel free to help me, no matter how bad you tear it up. I have no web page, or utube, or anything. i am starting on that. Any an all help is wanted
