My Requiem

Just a moment of anger, a second of haste,
To something beautiful, I have laid waste.
What could never have been, can now never be,
Written in stone, a part of history.
What was lost, can never be found,
My anguish chases me, like a baying hound.
That moment of anger, will last my whole life,
I traded joy, for a life filled with strife.
