I’m in this place I love to be,
I see that face, she is here with me.
Some things never leave, where our memories live,
Such a hurting need, so much more to give.
I hear the call, her voice sings my name,
Our bond given, souls never to be the same.
Our shadows dance by candlelight,
Our hearts fill from a wondrous flight.
I tried so hard her soul to keep,
She now lives in eternal sleep.
My thoughts drift to that place where I hid
Where words are not said, I gave all i could give
Daylight proves the night is gone
This day begins in peaceful song
Soft wind ripples grass so green
Makes me wonder if it was all a dream
Why must we waken from peaceful sleep,
So useless it would seem.
That time would rush through love so deep,
In this place where only angels dare dream.
