Out of the sky such beauty falls
Into iridescent drops and teary balls
Through misty corridors and shiny gates
Kingly promenades and narrow straits
From natal clouds where angels cry
As spirits roam and eagles fly
Turning liquid into magic potions
Murmuring brooks into giant oceans
Lovely rain from secret hideaways
Coming into view as the sky land sways
Through hell and saintly travels so it moves
Past devil’s doors and cathartic grooves
Into the mystery of the mystic dark
Into the maze of the bewildered heart
Oh such beauty as the falling rain
From a crying angel without a name

about 1 yearWOW....hands down my favorite of yours so far...short yet so powerful ...a rising depth and that last 2 lands just drives it home....i tried to pick a favorite 2 lines but realized i couldn't...maybe "The mystic dark and heart one" or the 3rd and 4th line....which draws you in...my favorite poem about rain i've ever read...something great about it...also technically speaking...the rhyme scheme is pretty flawless..not a syllable out of place...its as smooth as rain itself..therefore working on many levels....instant favorite!
for I also love the rain with a near ritualistic feeling when I get a rainy day...

about 1 yearalso love that spirits roam and eagles fly...i love that feeling of the paranormal thrown in with eagles...also your duality in many verses...hell and saintly..i can never resist a poem with duality at its base...
